JOB SUMMARY: Digital Marketing Manager

  • Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing objectives, strategies and plan across digital channels including website, social media and email to drive further awareness and engagement for the brand;
  • Develop an annual email marketing strategy and calendar, taking into account the priorities of the various departments;
  • Build, deploy, and optimize all email marketing campaigns including design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in marketing emails;
  • Develop a strategy for data collection with a goal to expand company distribution list size;
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of email sends;
  • Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising;
  • Work to create content and execute social media strategy, monitor visitor trends, research and upgrade social media based on industry trends and best practices
  • Own and maintain site analytics, metrics and campaign reporting and regularly present findings and recommendations to VP of Marketing and senior management;
  • Work with the Marketing Coordinator to develop new video content including machine demonstrations, customer testimonials, and short social media posts;
  • Improve and expand on our existing e-commerce website;
  • Measure ROI and KPIs;
  • Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget;
  • Suggest activities for improving the quality of online content;
  • Build an inbound marketing plan;
  • Research and forecast future sales and performance trends;
  • Lead, supervise and motivate members of the digital marketing team;
  • Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement;
  • Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices; and
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of website analytics tools
  • Knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Practical and solutions-oriented
  • Excellent technical skills and vision as it relates to the relevant channels
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
